He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Rigel and Alice Rigel (Brewer); his brother Jerry E. Rigel; and his brother-in-law Gail Woolley. He is survived by: his wife Patty Rigel (Perry); his daughters, Jackie L. Rigel-Burkholder, Alisa M. and Chris A. Brunk; his grandchildren, Dustin L. Hawkins, Erica L. Hawkins, Taylor K. Burkholder (Miranda) and Jenna C. Brunk; his great grandchildren, Alazae, Ariyana, Dagan, Dashiell, Kaden and Teddy; and his siblings, Jack V. Rigel and Grace E. Woolley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
