He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Ballinger and Stella Godwin (Mumper); his spouse Shirley Ballinger (Roeder); his son-in-law Ralph Stinebaugh; and his siblings, Jess Ballinger, Gene Ballinger, Gary Ballinger, Doris Hilleary and Betty Kimmel.

He is survived by: his children, Shelley Jo Stinebaugh, William J. Ballinger (Danette) and James Ballinger (Nikki); and his grandchildren, Beth Stinebaugh (Mike), Cristy Leonido (Chris), Ben Stinebaugh, Andrea Schmidt (Mike), Erica Shaner, Tara Allen (Matt), Renee Ballinger, Chad Risner, Jacob Risner, Whitney Risner, Ashley Ballinger and Rachel Ballinger. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
