He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ted Roney and Edith Roney (Cardone); and his siblings, Joyce Hiles (Roger) of Marysville, Linda Merkle (Stan) of Lima, Dennis Roney (Lisa) of Lima, Lisa Harrison (Randy) of London and Nadene Bruns (Alan) of Lima. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
