He was predeceased by: his brothers, Wilbur Tate Jr. and Robert L. Tate. He is survived by: his children, Timothy A. Tate of Los Angeles, CA, Thomas A. Tate (Kimberly) of Findlay, Tina A. Elliott of Marion, OH and Serena Smith (Dolphus) of Findlay; and his siblings, Ralph L., John W. (Deborah), James E. Tate and Jaqueline M. Russell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
