He was predeceased by: his father Lynn W. Shook. He is survived by: his mother Pamela Shook (Best) of Charleston; his children, Avanti "Shay" of Lima and Steven Shook of Lima; his grandchildren, Khylin Johnson, Giovanni Malcolm and Foxleigh Shook; and his siblings, Bill Shook of Cincinnati, Jenny (Gary Boroff) of Charleston and Bonnie Mahan (Kevin) of Dublin.
