She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Resier Gerhart Grove and Erma Pearl Stocker Grove; her sister Susanna Grove; and her half-brothers, Harold Wagoner and Fred Wagoner.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Owen Armstrong; her children, Brenda Bennington (Steve), Linda Toth (Mike), Sandy Hermes (Paul) and Keith Armstrong (Laura); her grandchildren, Becky Oswalt (Tim), Bill Bennington (Jenelle), Beau Bennington (Stefanie), Ben Chaney, Hilary Chaney, Drew Hermes, Jack Armstrong, Nathan Hermes and Madeleine Armstrong; and her stepgranddaughters, Carolyn Devor (Doug) and Diana Starner (Jared). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and her many special nieces and nephews.
