With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Alice Nance in Lima, Ohio, born in Canton, Mississippi, who passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Alice Nance to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewel Hayes and Hazel Spence (Wright); her husband George Nance, Sr.; her brother Johnny Lee Hayes; her grandson Desmond Nance; and her nephew Christopher Lloyd.

She is survived by: her children, Daphne Nance-Williams (Leonard), George Nance, Jr., Vergil Nance (Angelique Suarez) and Jeffery Nance (LaToya); her grandson Lamar Nance; and her niece Theresa Hayes (Sam McLauren). She is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
