She was predeceased by: her parents, Venard James and Gennevieve Anna Burden Reinhart; her sister Phyllis McKee; and her brother-in-law Paul Jacobs. She is survived by: her husband Edward L. Hooker; her daughters, April Pellegrini (Paul) of Lima and Tiffanie Barnes (Robert) of Florida; her grandchildren, Mindy Von Deylen, Trevor Pellegrini (Ashton), Heather Pellegrini, Conrad Barnes, Bella Barnes and Xander Barnes; her great grandchildren, Gregory Pellegrini, Amelia Pellegrini, Luke Von Deylen and Lincoln Von Deylen; and her sisters, Marlene Brown (James) of Harrod and Charlene Jacobs of Illinois.
