He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Spees (Haller); his children, Stacy Tuggle (Sean) and Steven Spees (Beth); his grandchildren, Ellie Tuggle, Ziggy Spees and Ezra Spees; his stepgrandsons, Devin Swihart (Lauren Johnson) and Kale Swihart; his brother Don R. Spees, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Sam Haller (Janet).

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
