He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Michael and Jean Charlotte Chiles Kennedy; his close friend Alice Pellman; his brother Jim Kennedy; his brother-in-law Dan Martin; and his son-in-law Chuck Woody.
He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Timmerman of Lima; his wife Marie Callahan Kennedy; his daughters, Cindy Hooks Oliver of Ft. Worth, TX and Debby Kennedy of Lima; his stepchildren, Pam Woody of Centreville and Rick Callahan (Pam) of Lima; his grandchildren, Michael Callahan (Mollie), Molly Higgins (Joe), Chris Callahan (Carrie), Jonathan Hooks, Nick Hooks (Jamie) and Alexus Wright (Dillon); his great grandchildren, Cohen, Declan, Ainsley Callahan, Ava, Ty Higgins, Cullen, Cade Callahan, Elle and Emmitt Hooks; and his sister Kathie Martin of Henderson, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
