Schaefer of Lima, Ohio, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis John and Charlotte Frances Weis Schaefer; his son Richard Alan Schaefer, Jr. (Maureen); and his sister-in-law Kathleen Schaefer. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Louis Schaefer (Jodi) of Lima and Tammy Lee 'Squirrel' McClelland (Christopher); and his brothers, Randall A Schaefer of Lima and Robert A. Schaefer (Debra) of Spencerville. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
