Richard G. Howell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard G. Howell of Lima, Ohio, born in Lakeview, Ohio, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Howell and Ruth Faye Howell (McClurg); his wife Carol Rose Steele; his siblings, Ruth Alsept of Toledo, Carol Fess of Lima, Susan Schnitz of Huntington, IN, Larry Conrad of Findlay, Gerald Howell of Cridersville, Ronald Howell of Cridersville, Vernon Terry Howell of Nebraska, Susan Gardner of Clarksville, TN and Dale; his grandchildren, Tasha Davis, Ciera Howell and Dale Howell, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Shyla, Jaxton, Emberlynne, Loveah, Trevor, Romero and Taven; his son Dale Edward Howell; his son-in-law Jerry Daniels; and his sisters, Catherine Phalen, Audrey Adams, Jeannette Clemens (Jean Sherman) and Pauline Swarner (Norman "Spike" Howell). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Services will begin at 1:00 p. m., Friday, Jan. 15, 2021 at Gardendale Church of God, where facial masks are encouraged and social distancing will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gardendale Church of God.
