He was predeceased by: his son Stephen Sparrow; his grandson Travis Sparrow; and his son-in-law Donald Boger. He is survived by: his children, Linda Boger, David Sparrow (Brenda), Bruce Sparrow (Rhonda), Jeffrey Sparrow (Karen) and Joseph Sparrow; his grandchildren, Shane Boger (Jennifer), Amy Boedecker (Matt), Joshua Boger (Kristie) and April Mershman; and his stepgrandchildren, Amy Thiaw and Rob Oldham. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
