He is survived by: his children, Constance Shutt (Donald) of Lima, Kathleen Krites (Nicholas) of Lima, Patty, Whaley, David Whitacre (Janie Garcia) of Dickinson, TX, Daniel Whitacre (Deb Inman) of Lima and John Whitacre of Lima; his sister Miller of Lima; and his grandchildren, Nicole Grothouse, Steve Shutt, Robert Whitacre (Shannon) and Sara Shutt.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or Lima Public Library.
