He was predeceased by: his children-in-law, Paul Gervais and Maryclare O'Reilly Gibson; and his siblings, Mary McNamara and Tom Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth O'Connor (Weber); his children, Catherine McNamara (John) of Lima, Bridget Gervais of Endicott, NY, Dennis Gibson (Marcia) of Fishers, IN, Daniel Gibson (Jami) of Belmont, NC and Mark Gibson of Kennesaw, GA; his grandchildren, Nick, Katie, Matt, Sarah, Annie, Jack, Maggie, L. E., P. J., Danny, Luke and Grace; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Cameron and Kenley; and his brother Edward Gibson of England.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gerard's Catholic Church.
