He is survived by: his wife Betty June Nees of Lima; his children, Michael L. Nees of Lima, Thomas E. Nees (Kimberly) of Plain City, Susan Kay Nees of Lima and Sally Jo Rumbaugh (Bryan) of Lima; his brothers, John Nees (Christina) of Piqua and Richard "Dick" Nees (Rose) of Lima; his daughter-in-law Rita Nees of Lima; and his grandchildren, Bryan Rumbaugh (Denise) of Little Hocking, Ryan Rumbaugh (Rachel) of Lima, John Michael Nees of Columbus, Kelly Stevenson (Tom) of Delphos, Luke Nees of Plain City, Josh Nees of Plain City and Grace Nees of Plain City.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made out to Forest Park Church, The Lima Memorial Foundation, or Perry Township Fire Dept.
