He was predeceased by: his parents, Hewitt Stokes and Evelyn Stokes (Shook); and his sisters, Susie Nungester (Ed) and Rita Ballweg. He is survived by: his wife Janelle Jane Stokes; his daughters, Karie Stokes of Lima and Kelly Mason (Randall) of Elida; his granddaughters, Kiley Melton (James) of Lima, Natalie Mason of Perrysburg and Lexi Heitmeyer of Lima; his great grandchildren, Kaedyn Wireman, Brynn and Gracyn Melton; his brother Norman Stokes (Karyn); and his brother-in-law William Ballweg.
