He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Hawkins (Deats); the mother of his children Elizabeth Deats of Sidney, OH; his sons, Scott Deats, Jr. of Sidney, OH and Matt Deats of Sidney, OH; his significant other Betsy Tice of Lima, OH; his stepchildren, Kayla Harvey of Edgerton, OH, Leanna Bowers of Lima, OH and Nicky Wright of Marion, OH; and his siblings, Nancy Smith of Findlay, OH, Chris Hawkins of Lima, OH, Cathy Rose (Charlie) of Raven, KY, Pattie Harmon, Ronnie Harmon of Salyerville, KY, Phillip Harmon of Salyersville, KY, Beckham Harmon of Salyersville, KY and Joy Brown (Charlie) of Roalton, KY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
