He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Daley and Rose Daley (Naples); his children, Martin Daley (Cindy) of Lima, Marie Daley (Ray Magnus) of Wapakoneta, Julie Knodel (Ryan) of Lima, Jennifer Smith (Lynn) of Lima and Janet Dinkel of Germany; his son-in-law Tim Badertscher of Lima; his siblings, Louie Daley (Renee), Janet DePalma (Sonny), Rosie Thorpe (Ralph) and Patty Crouse (Don); his children, Thomas Daley, Jr., Steven Daley and Connie Daley; and his siblings, Nena Sarno, Annie Stanovich, Clem Musto, Mary Treglia, Fuzzy Daley and Ferdie Daley. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Right to Life or Lima Central Catholic High School.
