He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos B. Goedde and Mary Frances Goedde; and his brothers, Ben, Mike and Joe Goedde (Theresa).

He is survived by: his wife Susan Goedde (Halker); his daughter Tricia Luthman (Scott); his grandchildren, Cassie and Nicholas Luthman; and his sister-in-law Connie Goedde. He is also survived by many in-laws, and nieces and nephews.
