With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Victor Bollinger of Lima, Ohio, born in Zeeland, North Dakota, who passed away on August 12, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Bollinger and Philipbena Bollinger; his wife Marie "Joanne" Bollinger (Richardson); and his siblings, LaVerna Reeves and Walter Bollinger (Joyce).
He is survived by: his children, Barbara "Barbie" A. Cooley (Kevin), Brian Bollinger (Denise), David (Margaret), Karen Gallagher of Colorado Springs, CO, Gary Bollinger (Barbara) of Estero, FL, Michael Bollinger (Elizabeth), Aaron Bollinger (Rachel) of Newnan, GA and Cheryl Hines (Gregory); and his siblings, Raymond Bollinger of Las Vegas, NV, Glen Bollinger (Ethel) of Mesa, AZ, Marveline Meredith of Mesa, AZ, Veral Bollinger (Camille) of Plymouth, MI, Sandra Richards, Lenhart Bollinger (Connie) and Wayne Bollinger (Cathy).
The family will receive friends following the service from 1 p. m. - 4 p. m. in an outdoor gathering to celebrate Vic's life at the home of Kevin and Barbie Cooley, observing COVID-19 guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice, Our Daily Bread or Heartbeat of Lima.
