It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley Harris Sr. (Lima, Ohio), born in Selma, Alabama, who passed away on July 8, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Nixon and Julia Ann Harris; and his siblings, Willie J. Harris, Sr., Lillie DeJarnette, Ethel Edwards and Martha Mosley.

He is survived by: his children, Wesley Harris Nixon, Jr. of Lorain and Sonya Harris Nixon of Lorain; and his siblings, Richard C. Harris of Dayton Ohio and Kathleen Bracey of Lima. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
