He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt and Johanna; and his sisters, Inge Schachtschneider (Horst) and Helga Weaver (Leonard). He is survived by: his wife Elvira Switon Jordan; his former wife Doris Beery (Melton); his children, Angie Clark (Barry) of Lima and Ron Jordan of Columbus; his stepdaughters, Alison Niese (Steve) of Bluffton and Heather Grimm (Kevin) of Columbus; his granddaughters, Katie Clark of Lima, Kailyn Goodman of Bluffton, Jenna Goodman of Bluffton and Jessica Goodman of Bluffton; his stepgrandchildren, Heidi Aust-Cox, Julie Aust and Lane Lee; his niece Nancy Croft (Shawn); his friends, Lisa Malueg, Roberta Myers and Tammy Frysinger; his stepson Wilfried Aust; his nephews, Lothar Schachtscneider and Ron Weaver; and his mother-in-law Nellie Melton. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and in-laws.
