He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard Bowers and Marian Bowers (Ramsdell); and his spouse Carlla Bowers (Dixon). He is survived by : his daughters, Jennifer Barnum (Lance) of Sandusky, OH and Rochelle Leskovec (Timothy) of Twinsburg, OH; his grandchildren, Allison Barnum, Kelly Barnum, Bailey Leskovec, Wyatt Leskovec and Eloise Leskovec; his sister Loralee Brumfield of Arizona; and his close friend Karen Vincent.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
