He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob "Woody" and Evelyn Stauffer (Putt); his daughter Christine A. Myers; his grandson Noah Kendall; and his brother Donald A. Stauffer.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Sue Stauffer (Parker); his children, Debra K. Gallegos (Javier), William "Bill" D. Stauffer, Jr. (Kathy), Beth E. Kendall (Bobby) and Nichole "Nicki" L. Sweeney (Scott); his grandchildren, Janet Painter, Christine Adams, Jacob Gallegos, Regina Gallegos, Janelle Gallegos, Brandon Sweeney, Jordan Sweeney, Austin Kendall, Dylan Kendall, Dawson Kendall, Cameron Stauffer, Zachary Stauffer and Brooke Stauffer; and his sister Linda Wilds. He is also survived by 12 Great-Grandchildren.
