She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Stephens and Nellie Stephens; and her son Cory Michael. She is survived by: her husband Tim Chaplin; her children, James Chaplin and Emily Chaplin; her brother Larry Stephens (Theresa); and her sibling's children, Larry Stephens Jr. (Tammy) and Starla Young.

The family suggests donations in Gail's name will be graciously accepted by the Medina Battered Woman's Shelter, 120 W. Washington St., Medina, Ohio 44256.
