She was predeceased by : her parents, John Alvin and Freda Mattox Byus; her husband Buford Lee Capehart; her son Sheldon Capehart; her grandson Jesse; and her great grandchild Austin.
She is survived by : her daughters, Melissa (Bruce Hayes), Vickie Capehart (Brandie) and Pat Kolbe (John Greenwalt); and her sister Reta Smith. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
