She was predeceased by: her parent John Lowe; her husband Thomas Floyd Sammons Sr.; and her grandson Tyler Sammons. She is survived by: her parent Laura Irene McGill (Oiler); her children, John Ray Sammons (Rose), Joseph Michael Sammons, Tommy Dale Sammons (Patty) of Laurelville, Ohio, Doris Ann Sammons of Logan and Debra Lynn Carpenter of Union Furnace, Ohio; her stepsons, Kenneth Raleigh of West Virginia and Ronald Raleigh of Indiana; and her sister Patricia Ruth "Patsy" Stephens of Logan. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
