He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Evans and Katie Evans (Miller); his former life partner Kate Copsey (Hubley); his son Dennis Copsey; and his brother Freddie Copsey.

He is survived by : his wife Rosanna Copsey (McKnight); his daughters, Debbie Conley (Terry) of Greenwich and Janet Chandler (Mike Phillips) of Bellevue; and his close friend Jimmy Reece (Judy). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
