She was predeceased by : her husband Gilbert McCombs, Sr.; her parents, Frank Boggs and Ethel Boggs; her daughter-in-law Wanda McCombs; and her siblings, Joy Rorris (Chris), Patty Stegall (Charles) and Lonnie Boggs (Mary Lou).

She is survived by : her children, Gilbert McCombs Jr, Jackie Pelfrey (Tom), Ruth Cain (Mark) and Barry McCombs (Cindy); and her grandchildren, Mindy Fultz, Scott McCombs (Diane), Tommy Pelfrey (Tonya), Trent Pelfrey, Brian Pelfrey (Jessica), Amy Bowen, Kim Langston and Lance Knief.
