She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Carter and Frances A. Carter Bryant; and her husband Joseph L. Rodgers. She is survived by: her grandmother Millie Anne Bishop; her daughter Laurie A. Rodgers of Lorain; and her sibling's children, Arlinda Keaton and Vernon Rodgers (Robin). She is also survived by friends including longtime friend.
Social distancing and masks are required. Private service for the family (due to COVID-19 restrictions) will follow immediately afterwards.
She was raised in a loving Christian family and "village" of aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors, and family friends who instilled in her the values of faith, love, charity, education, self-sufficiency, and industry.
