He is survived by : his wife Noel Kauffman; his sons, Nick Kauffman (Jessica) and Matt Kauffman (Kara); his grandchildren, Regan, Ronnie, Ward, Anna, Torvi and Jake; his siblings, Tom Kauffman (Ruth), Bobby Kauffman and Tammy Berrall (Tony); his niece Keitha Wells (Mike); and his nephews, Todd Kauffman (Tracey) and Adam Kauffman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Lindsey Chapel (123 N Market St, Loudonville, OH 44842). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (222 E Main St, Loudonville, OH 44842).
