He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Paula Rooks; his children, Shelly Simmons (David), Ryan Rooks, Matthew Rooks (Michelle), Lindsey Martin (James) and Scott Rooks; and his sister Betty Meinking. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren.
