He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Orewiler and Virginia Orewiler (Kahl); his sons, Stephen G. Orewiler of Brunswick and Jeremy C. Orewiler of Lucas; his sister Cheryl; his close friends, Judy and Ron Willis; and his siblings, Kay Jividen and Alvin Orewiler. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
