With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Cathleen Rose of Lucasville, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2023 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Cathleen Rose to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sylvester Crabtree and Kathryn Josephine Jeffries Altman; her husband Joseph Edward Rose; and her siblings, William Sylvester Crabtree, John Raymond Crabtree, Rosalee Stevens and Virginia Ella Crabtree.

She is survived by : her children, Alan Rose (Belinda) of Lucasville, Karen Rose of Hilliard, Debbie Prose of Portsmouth and Rita Garrick of Columbus; and her brothers, Thomas Franklin Crabtree of Lucasville, Steven Joseph Crabtree of Lucasville and James Carl Crabtree of Lucasville. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren.

The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to SOMC Hospice in Betty's name.
