She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Glenn Throckmorton and Geneva Hiles Throckmorton; her husband Samuel Everett Mehaffey; her son Frank Dale Mehaffey; and her siblings, Albert Throckmorton, Leroy Throckmorton, Marion Throckmorton and Norma Groves.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Allen Mehaffey of Lucasville, Bryan Mehaffey of Lucasville, Dwayne Mehaffey (Sherry) of West Portsmouth and Kim Lyle Mehaffey (Rhonda) of Portsmouth; her siblings, Jim Throckmorton (Sue), Ron Throckmorton (Sara) and Marge Copas (Roger Paul); and her daughter-in-law Bev Mehaffey (Don Pertuset) of Portsmouth. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
