She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Allen and Mildred Allen (Hawthorne); her husband James McConnaughey; and her siblings, Mary Garrison and Mitchell Allen.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy McConnaughey (Linda) of Lynchburg and Mark McConnaughey (Jeanell) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Nathaniel McConnaughey (Megan) of Wilmington, J. D and Tia McConnaughey of Lynchburg; her great grandchildren, Allie of Wilmington, Landon of Wilmington and Hudson of Wilmington; her siblings, Veda Mae Elam of Lynchburg, Violet Ditterline of Lynchburg, Ruth Ann Moore of Lynchburg, Darlene Micheal of Lynchburg, Joyce Setty (Rex) of Peebles and John Allen (Delana) of Lynchburg; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Ames of New Vienna and Frankie McConnaughey of Louisiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home (201 N Broadway St, Lynchburg, OH 45142). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
