He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Kerry; his children, Heather Ament (Bryan), Jennifer Taylor and Jasen Taylor; his grandchildren, Kayden, Tanner Ament and Zoe Pope; and his siblings, Melvin Taylor, David Taylor, Charlotte Shafer, Rose Burgess, Pat Ervin, John Taylor, Kimberly Harrison, Diana Wall and Vioma Taylor.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hope United Methodist Church Love Fund.
