He is survived by : his children, Trudy Ayers (Gilbert), Kenneth Nicely, III (Amanda), Samuel Nicely (Denise), Timothy Nicely (Jayme Almashy), Stephen Nicely and Joanna Nicely; his grandchildren, Abigail, Thomas, Elizabeth, Madeline, Samantha, Kenneth IV, Alexa, Summer, Alayna, Daniel and Delilah; and his siblings, Dave Nicely, Deb Greenwood and John Nicely.
