With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Evelyn Salyers (Madison, Ohio), born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on December 8, 2018 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Herbert and Anna Eaton (Huffman); her husband Jim Salyers; and her sisters, Ruth Shambaugh, Rheba Kinsinger and Elfleda Horner.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Salyers (Lori Kitchen Wilson) of London, Jeffrey Salyers (Sharon) of London and Ron Salyers of Springfield; her grandchildren, Molly Katherine Barron and Douglas Allen Salyers; and her siblings-in-law, Jewel Salyers Johnson of Lexington, Kentucky, George Shambaugh, John Kinsinger and Jack Horner. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
