She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Bucher and Clara Bucher (Hawk); her husband Robert T. Thayer; her daughter Janet Hurley (Thayer); and her siblings, Raymond, Walter, Ernest Bucher and Dorothy Cordray (Bucher).

She is survived by: her children, Don Thayer (Linda) of Malvern, Judy Potts (Jim) of Tippecanoe and Paul Thayer (Kathleen) of Massillon. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
