He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anna Engle and LeRoy Engle; his wife Dianne Brubaker Bolen Engle; his sisters, Marilyn Chalmers (late Alasdair) and Anne Bonneau (late Robert); his daughter Jennifer Kennedy (Derek); his grandsons, Craig and Ian; his son Roy Engle (Leslie); his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Matt), Benjamin and Matthew; his son Andrew Bolen; his grandchild Ashley (Ryan); his son Michael Bolen (Shannon); his grandchildren, Saren (JC), Alec, Aiden, Adison, Knox, Neyla and Jeromy Bolen (Alison); his great grandchildren, Robey, Moe and Zanna; his siblings-in-law, Vickie Brubaker Cox and George Cox; his friends, Robert Popeye Swetlic of Mansfield and George Bombel (Kathy) of Spokane, Washington.; and also, Dianna, Michelle, Amy and Jennifer.
