Dorothy Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2019, at the age of 83, Dorothy Smith (Mansfield, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shafer and Katherine Shafer (Tagmyer); her husband Kenneth "Kenny" Smith; her daughter Tammy Parsons; and her sisters, Evelyn Shafer and Doris McFadden.

She is survived by: her daughter Peach; her sons-in-law, Mick Rettig of Mansfield and Leonard Parsons of Ashland; her grandchildren, Steve Carpenter (Beth), Mike Carpenter, Ryan Knell, Ty Knell (Tiff), Dustin Knell (Becca Lamey), Ian Parsons (Jihye), Jordan Parsons (Kaitlin), Luke Parsons, Sara Dawson (Kyle) and Andrew Rettig (Ashleigh Keith); her great grandchildren, Gavin, Alexis, Jade, Spencer, Mylo, Liam, Julia, Finn, Grace, Nora, Hastin, Abram, Hayden, Pollux, Oliver, Laura Jane and Jack; her siblings, Helen Rosenbluh of Mansfield and John Shafer (Sondra) of Mansfield; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Smith of Lucas. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
