He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Sexton and Esther Sexton (Tolliver); and his brother Gary Sexton. He is survived by: his children, Michael Sexton of Mansfield, John Wayne Sexton of Columbus and Linda Sexton of Mansfield; his grandson Wyatt; his sisters, Jeanette Rayburn (Larry) of Mansfield and Sharon Boggs (Daniel) of Mansfield; and the mother of his children Kiyoko Sexton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or Richland County Humane Society.
