He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Kiser and Goldie Kiser (Bocook); and his siblings, Elsie Brinegar, Sylvia "Sib" Reynolds, Willie "June" Kiser, Otis "Hooks" Kiser, Caroline Sue Kiser and Diane Kaye Kiser.

He is survived by: his children, James Brent Kiser (Karen) and Dowanna "Dodi" Mullins (Floyd); his siblings, Judy Marie Mabry and Odis "Bottle" Kiser; his grandchildren, Kelly Brogan (Curt), Stephanie Blevins (Arnold), James Tyler Kiser (Nicole), Timothy Luke Mullins and Ticcoa "Torri" Pigman (Dustin); and his great grandchildren, Trinity, Zoe, Roma, Olivia, Damien, Isabella, Kirra, James, Nathan, Liam and Adaea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
