She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Ward and Sweet Ward; and her siblings, Odell Hill, Nellie Wheeler and Charles Ward.
She is survived by: her husband Minister Danny L. Holmes Sr.; her children, Dewanda Petty, Danny Holmes Jr. and Matthew Holmes; her sisters, Charlene Wagner and Mary Lloyd; her grandchildren, Tysha Cantrill, Tyrone Cantrill Jr., Darieon Cantrill and Iyannah Holmes; and her great grandchildren, Aayla Seats and Taylinn Hammock. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
