She was predeceased by: her husband Eddie Marsh; her daughter Erika Kay Polk; her parents, Richard Polk and Doris Polk; her siblings, Donna Polk, Billy Polk, Maynell Foster, Shirley Jordan, Dorothy Campbell (Dot) and Bonnie Crutchfield; and her siblings-in-law, Bessie Marsh, Elizabeth Adkinson, Anne Ruth Weaver and Ben Marsh.
She is survived by: her children, Elder Gerald Polk (Joetta) of Mansfield, David Polk (Angela) of Sherman, Texas and Iris Medrano of Sherman; her grandchildren, Lashana Steele (Brian), Sylvia Hopson, Dantreyus Hopson and Neiman Hughley; and her siblings, Barbara Howard of Sylmar, CA, Mary Johnson of Dallas, Lavora Spencer of Tyler, Cheryl Polk of Houston, Yana Bullard (John) of Sherman, James Polk of Dallas, Carl Polk (Diane) of Hewitt, Ben W. Polk (Pamela) of Sherman, Jimmy Polk (Janet) of Sherman, Leonard Tina and Terry Polk of Sherman. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Love Church (190 Chester Ave, Mansfield, OH 44903). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
