It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Dean Butterbaugh of Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Butterbaugh and Viola Butterbaugh (Grubb); and his brother Royal Butterbaugh. He is survived by: his wife Gaylene Butterbaugh (Bozarth); his daughter Megan Meadows (Butterbaugh); his grandchild Baylee; and his children, Sarah Prinsloo (Dean Rosow), Brett Butterbaugh, Brion and Sheila Butterbaugh (Duley). He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion's Refuge Baptist Church (1400 Lucas Rd, Mansfield, OH 44903). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
