He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Brinley and Sophia Brinley (Schelk); his wife Rita Brinley; and his siblings, Jay Earl, Stanley, Ray, Dale, Keith Brinley, JoAnn Whisler (Eugene) and Glenda Phipps.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Martin and John Brinley of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Kimberly Dawn Ringer, John Ringer and Roy Ringer Jr.; his sisters, Doris Gillum and Pat Wheitner (Ken) of Mansfield; and his sisters-in-law, Annabelle Brinley and Olga Brinley. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
