He was predeceased by: his parents, John Twardzik and Virginia Twardzik (Scieko); and his sisters, Anne Charbet, Jean Slusarczyk and Marie Lewicki.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Swetlick Twardzik; his children, David Twardzik and Linda Yoder; his grandchildren, Melanie Small (Jeff), Kari Curtis (Matt), Chris Au (Michelle), Wendy Thompson (Len), Scott Au, Brooke Yoder and Ben Yoder (Nikki); and his brother Joseph Twardzik. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
